Where did you get them from? They’re mostly hustled samples and promo from sales reps. Why have you chosen these shoes + outfit For e.g. Style, Comfort, Fashion? All of the above. Favourite items or must haves? Flannel shirts, snapback caps, varsity jackets, roll up beanies and the more shoes the merrier…What was the first pair of shoes you just had to have? Airwalk NTS – NOT THE SAME – series. They were the first pair of shoes I’d ever seen done in full black colours…

Occupation? Started my own business – Milk Underwear. Make beats in a group called Nothing to Nobody.

Your influences past and present? I’ve always looked to the leaders in our community for inspiration. The likes of Geoff Ross from 42 Below and other business leaders have really influenced my thought process and drive to buck the trend and do something different. What shoes and clothes are you wearing? Alife kicks, Lee jeans, Milk Underwear, I Love Ugly Tee and a Black Chalc cap. Where did you get them from? Kicks from Footage in Sydney, Jeans from the outlet store, Underwear from my warehouse, Tshirt from I Love Ugly, And cap from Black Chalk. Why have you chosen these shoes + outfit For e.g. Style, Comfort, Fashion? Comfort first and foremost for my day to day routine. Favourite items or must haves? Black Chalc cap – I am currently rocking the sample but watch this space. What was the first pair of shoes you just had to have? Air Jordans. Size 11 when I was 13. About 3 sizes too big.

Your influences past and present? MM Paris. The Labyrinth. Living in London. Travel. Juergen Teller. Music – too much to specify. Creative interior spaces. Tree houses. The 60s. Whatever Polaroid imagery I managed to snap with my land camera, before they stole my film.  What shoes and clothes are you wearing? Red Moccasins and a dress that I half made / half paid someone to finish… I’m too impatient when it comes to sewing and I don’t follow any rules… Where did you get them from? Moccasins from an op shop on K road, they’re a little snug but the side tassels sucked me in. Rings & necklaces acquired from all sorts of adventures. Why have you chosen these shoes + outfit For e.g. Style, Comfort, Fashion? I find it hard to find things I like in stores, hence the DIY dress… I love long dresses. I’m definitely a comfort dresser, I don’t own many fitted items. Favourite items or must haves? I just bought an amazing dress for $10 from the Grey Lynn festival – that’s fast going to become a favourite once I’ve reno’d it. Converses. Ponchos. Cheap crochet crop tops for under everything. My little moleskin sketch diary # zillion. What was the first pair of shoes you just had to have? Duck gumboots. They were white with Yellow bills on the toes. When we lived in England Mum bought my brother and I a matching pair. Apparently we wore them rain, hail or shine.

Must haves 5D MK II, Minolta SRT 101b and an Imagination. What was the first pair of shoes you just had to have? Air Jordan 5 Retro LS – Grapes (White / Emerald Green – Grape Ice). Never really wore them, I had never seen a sneaker like them before. Tinker Hatfield sure knew how to design a shoe, from the lace locks to the spitfire inspired sole, everything about that colourway and shoe was a must have.

Your influences past and present? I have spent a lot of time in Japan so I feel I have some sort of Japanese influence with style, traveling also influences me a lot. Living in NYC is an inspiration in it’s self everyday. What shoes and clothing are you wearing? Well I’m wearing a handmade knitted beanie knitted by a good friend, Joes jeans, white American apparel Sebastian teller singlet, moochi jacket, stolen girlfriends ring, anonymous cross ring and bracelets from Bali, my black converse and retro super future sunnies. I always wear my converse because they are so comfy it’s kind of bad I wear them 24/ 7, today I chose this for comfy but of course I like to add my style into it as well so I would say comfy style! Traffick socks, Traffick Cords, Elle Boxers, AS tee, ABC hat (sweat stains not included) Vic towel & a G-Shock watch. Where did you get them from? Pretty much all from my friends, these pictures were taken on a skate trip so you have rep your friends stuff for sure. Thank you Sanga & Conan, Justin, Chey, Larry, & Calis. Why have you chosen these shoes + outfit For e.g. Style, Comfort, Fashion? I pretty much always wear Lakai or DVS shoes, preferably new ones for skating. I like to wear shoes I could skate or ride a bike in, even if its not likely to happen that day it just feels right. I don’t think the rest counts as an outfit, just clothes. I almost always wear plain white tees but this day I guess It was a blue one, the cords are perfect for skating in when its hot, I cant skate in shorts, just cant do it and this day was too hot for jeans, gotta have a hat for skating too, I’ve always been a fan of the 5 panel, I guess I sweated this one out pretty bad. If I wear anything too fashionable I feel like a dick, I’m pretty boring I guess. Favourite items or must haves? My wife Kirstin, my friends.
